Optolevel® 2-Wire Optic Sensor
The 2-Wire Optic Sensor is for Liquid Level Detection. The sensors can be used for overfill and retain prevention for example, on road tankers, storage tanks, and rail cars. The optic sensor was the first product manufactured under Optolevel trademark. The sensor has transformed significantly since the first prototype was made. Today’s sensor represents a result of a long development project.
Optolevel Optic Sensors have ATEX-certification and are intended to be used with other Optolevel products. They are in conformity with EN 13922 standard. There are two sizes of 2-wire optic sensors available 18 and 24 mm. The sensor can be placed on the top, bottom or wet leg of the tank for level monitoring. The sensor can be installed on a mounting pipe (JP18 or JP24) for top monitoring level.
